- These HOWTOs will probably only work on either Debian Etch or Sid and have not been tested on older versions of Debian.
- There is a possibility that these HOWTOs will work on Ubuntu as this OS is built off of Debian.
- The Gnome Desktop wiki items should work on any Linux distro using Gnome 2.14 or later.
- While there are most likely a number of (better) ways to setup Debian the HOWTOs contained here are what worked for me.
